Ørsted

Ørsted is the world’s largest and most experienced offshore wind farm developer with more than 30 years of experience. The offshore leader based in Denmark currently operates in more than a dozen markets, including the United States, several markets in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. Poland is one of the key markets for Ørsted, where the company already employs more than 600 people in its Warsaw office. Ørsted supports Poland’s green transformation by investing jointly with PGE in the 2.5 GW Baltica Offshore Wind Farm.  

Ocean Winds

Ocean Winds is the result of a joint venture between EDPR S.A. and ENGIE S.A.. The company is developing offshore wind projects (total of 1.5 GW under construction and 4.0 GW under development).The aim is to increase the volume of projects in operation to 5-7 GW by 2025. In Poland, OW is developing the BC-Wind project with a capacity of up to 399 MW. In June 2021, the project received the right to CfD from the Energy Regulatory Office, thanks to which it will be one of the first offshore investments in Poland. EDF Renewables

EDF R implements projects for the construction of RES installations in over 20 countries around the world, including Poland ( onshore, offshore, green hydrogen, BESS and PV). EDF R has been present on the Polish market since 2011 through its subsidiary EDF EN Polska Sp. z o.o. During this time, it has built 5 onshore wind farms with a total capacity of 175 MW (Górzyca, Ustka, Parnowo operated by EDFR and previously sold: Linowo and Rzepin) which cover the energy needs of hundreds of thousands of households. VENSYS offers wind turbines with various tower heights, rotor diameters and capacities from 1.5 to 4.1 MW. VENSYS develop two new 5S wind turbines for the needs of energy market. First with a capacity of 5.8 MW and rotor diameter of 170 m and second with a capacity of 6.2 MW and rotor diameter of 155 m. Both of them will be available from 2024.
