Ukrainian – Polish Round Table

Time: 3.06.2022, godz. 16:30 – 18:00

Place: Sekwana Room

Ukraine has significant untapped potential in onshore and offshore wind energy, green hydrogen, new electricity infrastructure, etc. Already today, many international financial institutions, such as the EBRD, have announced their plans to invest in the Ukrainian economy. In turn, Poland, through its participation in RES projects, could become a guarantor of international investments in Ukraine. All these issues will
be addressed by a special Ukrainian-Polish Round Table during the PWEA 2022 Conference in Serock (13-15 June). This unique meeting will address key issues for the revival of the Ukrainian energy sector – the main goals, challenges and the role of renewables. There will also be topics on raising the necessary funds for post-war reconstruction and the role of financial institutions in creating a favourable environment for business cooperation in the context of renewable energy sources. The meeting will be hosted by: Monika Morawiecka, Expert, Regulatory Assistance Project, and Katherine Knysh, Head of Analytical Department, Ukrainian Wind Energy Association.
